Broccoli Egg Fry

We all know, Broccoli is a super good vegetable . It is rich in minerals, vitamins and antioxidant. Broccoli is also low in calories but contains ample of nutrition and antioxidants that supports many aspect of human health. As broccoli has these many health benefits why not we add it to our diet. Here comes a simple broccoli egg fry recipe can be made shortly with minimal ingredients.


Ingredients:



  1. Broccoli cut into small cubes - 200g

  2. Egg - 2 Nos

  3. Red chilli - 2 Nos

  4. Mustard - 1/2 teaspoon

  5. Onion finely chopped - 1 No

  6. Chilli powder - 1/2 teaspoon.

  7. Salt to taste






Preparation:

  1. First let us blanche the broccoli in hot water. Soak the broccoli for 7 minutes in hot water. By doing so the broccoli cleaned and as well cooked to some extent.


2. Into a pan heat the oil. Once it is hot add the mustard seed wait until the mustard crackles.

3. Then add dried red chilli saute it. Now add chopped onion mix well. Once the onion nice and soft add red chilli powder. Cook until the raw smell goes.

4. To the pan add the blanched and drained broccoli and add salt required for broccoli allow it cook for 5 min. Do not overcook the broccoli.

5. After 5 minutes break two eggs and add salt required for egg. Wait for a minute and mix well.



6. Once the egg is cooked, our healthy and tasty broccoli stir fry is ready.
