Simple chicken roast

Chicken is one of the tastiest non-vegetarian food. There are million dishes you can make with chicken. Here is one simple lip-smacking chicken dish. When we go to a non-vegetarian restaurant for a lunch or dinner, the first thing we mostly would like to order is a chicken starter. Chicken roast is a starter cum side for rice and roti's. This is a simple recipe cooked with minimal ingredients and minimal effort. Let's checkout the recipe's ingredient.

Ingredients:

Chicken - 200 gms

Red chilli - 3 Nos

Chopped Onion - 2 Nos

Tomatoes - 3 Nos

Chopped garlic - 2 teaspoon

Chopped ginger - 2 teaspoon

Red chilli powder - 1 tablespoon

Garam Masala powder - 1 teaspoon

Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon



Preparation:

Step1: Heat a pan or iron kadai. Add a tablespoon of oil. Once the oil is hot add red chilli, chopped garlic and ginger.

Step2: Now add the chopped onion and fry well. Add Chilli powder, turmeric and mix well.

Step3: Once the onion and masalas are sauted add the chopped tomatoes. Cook until tomatoes are mushy.

Step4: Add the chicken pieces and mix well. Add salt and cook until the chicken gets cooked. Do not add water to the chicken. Allow it cook with it's own juices.

Step5: Add the garam masala and cook until water from chicken gets absorbed and garnish with coriander leaves. For best result cook in iron kadai.
