Masala Chai or Masala Tea

Tea is one of the beverage most of us like to have as a refreshment. I am not a big fan of tea. At times when I get bored with coffee, I prefer to drink tea. Today I had a thought, why don't I try Masala chai . So I tried it and enjoyed the taste . Now, I am sharing the recipe with you.
Cooking time: 15 mins
Serves - 2 cups
Ingredients:

Milk - 2 glass
Water - 1 glass
Tea powder - 2 teaspoon(Ratio for 1 teaspoon for 1 glass of milk)
Ginger - 1 inch
Peppercorns - 3 Nos
Cardamon pods - 2 Nos
Cinnamon stick - 1
Cloves - 1 No
Sugar to taste
Preparation:
Into a vessel boil water and add tea powder. Bring to a boil.
Crush the ginger, cardamon pods, cinnamon stick, peppercorns and cloves using mortar and pestle.
Add the crushed mixture to the boiling tea decoction and allow it boil for 5 mins.

Now add the milk to the vessel . Bring to a rolling boil. Our masala chai is ready. Stain it with a filter. Add sugar as per your taste. Mix well.

Now our Masala chai is ready.

I would like to add a small note on tea preparation. The tea I prepared is a mild strong tea with mild thick consistency. You can adjust the quantity of milk , water and tea powder ratio as per your taste.
