Vendakai stir fry / okra or lady’s finger fry

Vendakai is one of the good green vegetable. I love to eat vendakai since childhood. I still remember the fact that people used to say, eating vendaikai improves one’s memory power. Right now, I am not sure whether it is true or not .When I was young I believed it and had it. The ladies finger has more water content in it and good amount of fiber. So add it to your diet in any form.
When I started writing the blogs few of my friends encouraged me and also gave some suggestion to improvise my blog. One of my friend personally messaged me and asked to post this recipe and this is for her. It is a simple dish made with love.
Ingredients:
Vendaikai / ladies finger - 200 grams
Oil - 2 teaspoon
Kuzhambu milagai podi - 1 heap teaspoon.
Salt to taste

Preparation:
Step 1: Wash well the vendaikai and cut into cubes as shown.

Step 2: Heat the kadai. Add the 2 teaspoon oil.

Step 3: Add the cut Vendaikai / ladies finger to the kadai. Mix well for 2 mins.
Step 4: Add salt. (Adding salt helps to evaporate the liquid from vendaikai bit faster). Cook for 5 mins.

Step 5: Now add the Kuzhambu milagai podi and mix well. Cook in medium flame until the masala dries.

Now our Vendaikai fry is ready. Enjoy your meal. Stay Healthy and stay positive.
